IMAG, a 100 % daughter company of Munich Trade Fairs International, was the first German exhibition company entering the Chinese market. In 1975 it organized the TECHNOGERMA, the German Industry Exhibition in Beijing. Since then it has conducted more than 20 German pavilions every year in all major exhibition centers in China.

In 1995, IMAG founded the first joint venture in the exhibition industry, Jing Mu Exhibition Corporation. Joint Venture partner is CIEC, China International Exhibition Corporation, a company under CCPIT.
